The Utah Jazz look to bounce back tonight when they host Kevin Durant and the red hot Oklahoma City Thunder. The (50-27, 47-27-3 ATS) Jazz had their three game winning streak snapped on Friday night as they continued their struggles against the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers, going down in embarrassing fashion 92-106 in LA. The (48-28, 45-31 ATS) Thunder on the other hand continued their march towards the playoffs as they recorded their fourth straight victory as they currently sit in 6th place in the West, which is only one and half games behind Dallas who own the second spot.
With a win tonight, the Thunder would sweep the season series with the Jazz as they have won all three meetings between the two this season, which includes a 104-94 win in the first and only meeting of the season in Utah. Kevin Durant led the way with 28 points as the Thunder outscored the Jazz 31-16 in the third quarter to setup the victory. The Thunder have enjoyed playing in Utah in recent history as they are 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Utah.

Despite their loss to the Lakers on Friday night, the Jazz still remain one of the hottest teams in the league and especially at home were they have won nine straight, averaging 113.7 points per game in that stretch. The Thunder on the other hand have been one of the better road teams all season, despite having such a young roster, as they are 23-15 away from home on the season and 6-2 in their last eight road games. Against the spread wise, you could make a case for either team as both the Jazz and Thunder have been of the charts in some area's at covering the number.
With only a handuful of games remaining and only a game and a half separating the second and sixth positions in the West, tonight's clash is a crucial one for both the Thunder and the Jazz. There's no doubt the Thunder have been playing some great basketball as of late, however I think their in a bad spot against the Jazz tonight. With the Jazz coming in off three days rest and an embarrassing loss to the Lakers, not to mention trying to avoid a season series sweep against the Thunder, I think they are in prime position to get back on track at home and get one back on the Thunder tonight...
