2009 Free Weekly Football Contest With CASH Prizes
It's that time of year again, time for football. And to celebrate, we're doing it in style with a free football picking contest. Last season we were a little late to the party starting past the midpoint of the season and limiting it to college football. This year we're cranking it up a bit in the prize department and expanding the game so you can chose NFL games as well and even totals (over/under) This year we'll be doing the contest through our radio show, Picks and Parlays which airs Tuesday nights on Blog Talk Radio at 7 PM EST. Of course , this also means we'll be doing as a team with the Sports Chat Place and CT Sports Picks, much like our highly successful NCAA Basketball Bracket contest last year. The reason we can have bigger and better prizes than last season is we have a sponsor. Bet Jamaica will be handling all of the back end work for us including the posting of the odds we will be using along with quickly grading the entries, which I promise will be much faster than my manual process. The weekly prize will start at $100, that's cash. If the contest grows as we suspect it will, the prizes will go up as well so be sure to tell your friends. What the heck, it's free to enter anyway. What's really neat about the contest being sponsored by Bet Jamaica is that in addition to the weekly prize Craig and I are giving out for our group, you can be eligible to win Bet Jamaica's prizes they are giving away to those who perform the best in all of the separate contests they are running. This year's Bet Jamaica prize pool is 1.1 million dollars*. Like I said, this year's contest blows last year's out of the water. While I've always had it so you can pick your 15 strongest games out of all games being played, this year your choices include the NFL games as well as the ability to include over/unders . After you are logged in, there is an orange banner at the bottom that says pick 15 or something like that, click on that and it will take you to the football pools page, on the left is a a menu and one of the choices is group membership. hopefully Craig will chime in here shortly as he knows this stuff better than I do.

I set the account up. The customer service leaves something to be desired. How long does it take the $25 to hit the account? Will it be available for Saturday college game day?

hmmm...I have always found Bet Jam's customer service to be pretty solid and their payouts prompt, but everyone has different experiences.
Not sure how the $25 logistics work out, that is more Craig's thing, I will ask him to address this as I believe if you lose, the money just goes back in your bankroll and if you win you keep the winnings but not 100% sure.

I typed in the username picks and parlays with the pw as parlays, and it was not found. Is there a certain way I need to type it in?

For your user name and password, it is something you create, once you have done that you go to join a group. For the Group select picks and parlays and the password is parlays. I hope this helps and if anyone has anything to add go ahead.

Yes, make sure you join through the link on this website, or on craig's website first. After that go to "Group Membership" and click on the "P" above the box on the right. There are 3 "Picks and Parlays" options but only one is spelled correctly. Click on the properly spelled name and enter the password and you should be all set.

CONTEST has been huge success in fact our group has received the most BONUS CASH after the first 4 weeks. Guess that means we have the best cappers! Congrats everyone
